Remembering who we are

Parábola del joven rico (Lucas 18, 18-30) " 18  Y cierto  hombre  prominente le preguntó, diciendo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para heredar la vida eterna?  19  Jesús le respondió: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Surrendering your truth is the path, and that begins with listening. The ego can feel like a threat to the nervous system, following a plan we don’t always understand. But we don’t need to understand everything. Stepping out of control is stepping out of slavery, and into life. Listening is the beginning of life. When you start to truly listen, you show your ego that it is no longer in charge, and your soul is. We all want to be heard. At some point in our lives, we all want to be seen, even admired. But what the ego struggles to understand is how to let go. To pause. And the cause and effect of that pause is simple:  abundance. The ego is not the enemy. In fact, it can become your greatest ally. You just need to see it, understand it, accept it, and integrate it. Every conversation you have throughout the day reflects your loyalty to yourself how deeply you feel the need to be heard in order to heal. The moment your awareness awakens and knows when to be silent, everything shifts....

Renunciar a tu verdad es el camino, y eso se hace escuchando. El ego es una amenaza para el sistema nervioso, cuyo plan no siempre entendemos. Pero no tenemos por qué hacerlo. Salir de la esfera del control es salir de la esclavitud y empezar a vivir. Empezar a escuchar es empezar a vivir.  Cuando empiezas a escuchar es cuando le dices a tu ego que el que mandas eres tu, tu alma. Todos queremos ser escuchados. Todos queremos ser idolatrados en algún punto de nuestras vidas. Y lo que el ego no entiende es dejar el control. Pausar. La causa y el efecto de la pausa es simple: la abundancia.  El ego no es malo.  El ego se convierte en tu mejor amigo a diario. Solo necesitas verlo. Entenderlo. Aceptarlo e integrarlo. Todas las conversaciones que tienes al cabo del día son una muestra de lealtad hacia uno mismo y cuanto crees que necesitas ser escuchado, para ser sanado. It is just memory that we need sometimes. It is certain that we should not live in the past, but the past is the memory of the future. The memory of the past helps us to remember little details.
